He started on April 2, 2023, in Huntington Beach, CA, and has set off on a journey
that will see him become the fastest Englishman to run across America when he finishes in New York City on Saturday, May 27th, 8 days ahead of schedule. He will run a staggering 50 – 60 miles per day for 56 days. Goodge’s previous accomplishments include running 48 marathons in 30 days across England.
The historic run is raising upwards of $500,000 for cancer research and support in celebration of William’s mother Mandy. The loss of Mandy five years ago sparked the beginning of William’s running career.
